Visa Crypto Cards Were Used in Transactions Worth $2.5 Billion in Three Months

Users of cryptocurrency cards based on the Visa payment system carried out transactions in the amount of $2.5 billion in October-December 2021. 

According to CNBC, CFO Vasant Prabhu during a conference with analysts said that the figure for the first quarter of fiscal 2022 was 70% of the value for the entire fiscal 2021 ($3.5 billion).

According to the company, the number of crypto card issuing partners has increased from 56 to 65, including Coinbase, Circle, FTX, Bakkt and BlockFi. The number of merchants accepting digital assets has almost reached 100 million.
