The Price of Exclusive Oscar Mayer’s “Hot Doge Wieners” Exceeded $3K

The American meat company Oscar Mayer sells a unique package of “Hot Doge Wieners” on Ebay. Before the trades were suspended, its rates reached $3,050.

A limited edition Dogecoin branded pack of sausages includes 10 sausages, plus a “cash equivalent” of 10,000 Dogecoin (DOGE).

The auction is due to close on August 7, however, the listing has been temporarily removed.

In the early hours of trading, Redditors on the r/dogecoin community noticed a $3,050 bid during an auction.

Considering that the shelf life of a pack of sausages is no more than three months in the freezer, and delivery can take from three to five weeks, the cost of the lot may seem overpriced.

On the other hand, all proceeds from the sale of Hot Doge Wieners will go to Feeding America.

At the moment, Dogecoin is trying to recover from the crypto downturn that began in May. DOGE hit an all-time high of $0.73 on May 8 and has since fallen more than 70% to about 20 cents, according to data from CoinGecko.

Recently, more unique goods that support the meme coin have appeared. For example, Axe released a limited edition of its unique Dogecan spray, inspired by the popular Dogecoin (DOGE) meme.
