The Former Head of BitMEX Gave Up to the USA Authorities

The founder of BitMEX exchange, Arthur Hayes, gave up to the USA authorities on Hawaii. He still intends to appeal against the accusations laid upon him. He is accused of violation of laws about money laundering and bank secrecy.

Hayes faced the court in Honolulu willingly to object against the accusations. Together with Hayes, two other co-founders of the BitMEX, Ben Delo and Samuel Reed, were accused by the CFTC. He was released on $10 million bail.

Delo was released from custody on $20 million bail. He insists on being not guilty, and so does Hayes and his lawyers. They are accused of servicing the unregistered crypto platform and violating the rules of client’s identification.
