The city authorities in Tennessee will accept payment of real estate taxes in Bitcoins

According to the mayor of Jackson, Scott Conger, Bitcoin may be the only solution to eliminate inflation and devaluation of the US dollar. Therefore, the city is considering the possibility of accepting cryptocurrency as a means of paying property tax.

The news, that the city has begun investigating potential methods of accepting property tax payments in Bitcoins in Jackson, was announced on Thursday evening.

Before introducing a new payment method, the team will need to explore ways to use Bitcoins for employees and others.

Conger said earlier on Twitter that Bitcoin could be the solution to strengthen the US dollar in the face of inflation and devaluation.

Now the city is actively studying options for paying city employees in cryptocurrency, introducing Bitcoin mining operations and adding cryptocurrency to the city’s balance.

As estimated during the research done by a cryptocurrency exchange Crypto Head, currently the USA is the best prepared country for a crypto adoption. The research estimated such important data as the amount of crypto ATMs, Google search statistics, and the regulatory frameworks.
