Tether Is Going to Integrate With Polkadot

The world’s stablecoin №1,Tether, seeks interesting projects to join in. Earlier there were Ethereum and Solana, and now it headed to Polkadot and Kusama. USDTs will be available on Kusama first, and then on Polkadot.

The company’s CTO, Paolo Ardoino, believes it’s important to keep up with innovation in the virtual finance ecosystem. Together with Kusama and Polkadot they are going to work on building the so-called Web3, a decentralized internet.
Tether was often blamed for the lack of transparency and proof that its stablecoins are backed with real U.S. dollars. This February they finally ended the community’s doubts by the attestation made by accounting firm Moore Cayman.
