SOL and ADA Options are Available on Delta Exchange
The Delta Exchange crypto derivatives platform launched Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) futures trading on September 8.
According to Cointelegraph, the initial deployment of SOL and ADA call and put options will have daily maturities. And weekly and monthly maturities will be available a little later.
Delta Exchange also allows trading options on Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), XRP (XRP), Bitcashpay (BCP), and Binance Coin (BNB).
After a lull in the cryptocurrency market in July, options trading volume increased significantly in August as the cryptocurrency markets rebounded significantly. By mid-August, the open interest in Bitcoin options had doubled from the annual low set at the end of June.
A study by CoinMarketCap found that derivatives made 55% of the total cryptocurrency market by December 2020. The growth of platforms such as FTX, Bybit and Delta suggests that derivatives may make a larger percentage of the total market.
