Sichuan Miners Were Forced to Stop Their Work This Month

Bad news from China again – the authorities of Sichuan district obliged the local miners to stop their work until June 20th. They even banned the local energetic companies from providing them with the electricity needed for their work, according to a report by 8BTC.

An official document says all mining companies should stop their work and inform the regulators about it until June 25th. They also aren’t allowed to hire new employees. Moreover, local regulators will check this and look for the companies that didn’t follow the order from authorities.

Sichuan miners used to work on the leftover hydroelectric energy due to the low tariffs during the high seasons. The biggest electric stations will be closed for them in the near future. However, the medium and smaller hydroelectric stations may continue providing them with the electric energy for a while.
