PepsiCo Drops NFTs

The American company PepsiCo announced the airdrop of its first NFT collection called “Pepsi Mic Drop” on the Ethereum blockchain.

According to the company’s announcement, free tokens will be received by members of the waiting list, registration for which will open on December 10 at 17:00 (UTC). However, you will have to pay a small amount as a commission. At the time of writing, the average network fee is $4.84 per transaction, according to Etherscan.

The collection consists of 1,893 tokens. This is the number of tokens that were created in honour of the year the company was founded.

NFTs are randomly generated variations of a microphone image inspired by “iconic Pepsi flavours”. They are also divided according to the degree of rarity – the unique type will be released in a single copy.

The users from the waiting list will be shipped collectibles on December 14th.
