Over 10M ETH Held on Eth2 Deposit Contract

According to Etherscan, the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract has more than 10 million ETH (~$26.1 billion) locked up, representing 8.4% of the total ETH supply.

In second place is the Wrapped Ether contract with a balance of 7.14 million ETH, and one of the wallets of the Kraken platform is in third place (2.11 million ETH).

In March, in just 10 days, the number of Ethereum 2.0 validators exceeded 310,000. And since the beginning of 2022, their number has grown by almost 13%.

For the past six months, the validator engagement rate, which reflects the percentage of blocks involved in the validation process, has been unusually high, ranging from 96.16%-99.73%.

According to Staking Rewards, Ethereum 2.0 ranks third in terms of the value of assets involved in staking after Solana and Terra. And the protocol’s annual interest rate is 4.8%.
