OpenSea Updates the Security System

Due to the increase in NFT scams, the popular platform OpenSea has decided to upgrade its security system by adding a feature that will automatically hide suspicious NFT transfers, showing only verified and legitimate transactions.

In addition, the management of OpenSea has created a special group of moderators, which deals with the review and moderation on the platform. But to protect copyright and counter other types of fraud, “critical auto-detection” technologies will be used in the future.

According to the creator and CEO of OpenSea Devin Finzer, removing such elements from the platform will improve its overall performance, as well as prevent unwanted ads and fraudulent elements on the platform.
