On September 30, in the USA a Bill on Extended Crypto Taxation Will Be Approved

The law to toughen taxation of the cryptocurrency sphere will be passed by the US House of Representatives on September 30.

According to Reuters, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi announced that on Thursday, September 30, a vote will take place on the Biden administration’s $1 trillion infrastructure bill, which provides for increased taxation of the cryptocurrency sphere.

On August 10, despite the opposition of the crypto community, the bill was approved by both houses of the Senate without the adoption of amendments regarding provisions on toughening the reporting rules for cryptocurrency “brokers”.

However, some lawmakers believe the bill should be delayed pending negotiations on a follow-up $3.5 trillion Social Security and Climate Bill.

Senator Nancy Pelosi said that since the price of the second bill worries some Democrats, the bill could be cut.
