NFT News: Gothic Collections, Shiba Game and New Football NFT Sales Record

Therefore, we offer you a selection of the latest interesting news and releases of new collections over the past week:
Blkburd Genes, in collaboration with the Turkana Basin Institute, released the NFT clothing collection Evolution on August 1st.
Buyers will be able to purchase not only NFTs, but also a piece of clothing with a unique print. The prints for the artist’s collection were inspired by images of 1.6 million year old human fossils found in Kenya. Compliance with the original image was checked by researchers from the Turkana Basin Institute.
Surrealist 3D artist William Willoughby III, also known as William the Third, launched his new collection called Evolving Dreams on MakersPlace on August 2.
The collection includes images representing the artist’s vision of the future. In addition to the strange but captivating 3D images, the NFTs will include HD video and 2K resolution printing, ensuring that collectors can appreciate every minor detail Wilhelm III has integrated into these works.
TIGA X TAMAGO
Underground music icon Tiga has partnered with decentralized music streaming platform Tamago to launch an unreleased demo single Tiga Easy as an NFT on August 3rd.
The future owner of this NFT will receive up to 20% of the royalties for streaming the track, and another 15% of all subsequent resales of the NFT if they choose to sell it.
Tales of Undead Love
According to the artist, the collection is dedicated to the power of love, which can transcend life itself, and all the possible painful consequences that the truth can portend.
According to the press release, the Mystery Box will be available for sale for the first 48 hours, with one of the five artworks, unless, of course, they are sold out before the expiration of this period. The collector who buys the most Mystery Boxes will receive a unique “STONED UNDEAD” piece.
Avatar: Lord of the Elements
Leading pop culture style brand Funko and film company Paramount are collaborating to launch Funko Pop, a digital NFT series featuring characters from the Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.
According to a press release, the collection will go on sale on Dropp.io on August 9th. It will feature 625,000 NFTs of varying rarities, divided into standard packs of five tokens for $9.99 and premium packs of 15 tokens for $29.99.
If anyone is lucky enough to get one of the six rare Avatar Funko Pop NFT digital figurines, they will be able to exchange it for a physical Funko Pop collectible figurine.
The Shiba Inu (SHIB) team, in collaboration with PlaySide Studios, is creating a mobile NFT game called Shiba Eternity, which will be available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Market.
Shiba Eternity is being developed as part of the Metaverse Ecosystem Project and will be compatible with Shiboshi’s NFTs.
The game will be available in two modes: a regular free-to-play mobile game and a version that includes NFT and play to earn (P2E) features.
FC Barcelona sold NFT for nearly $700,000
Spanish football giant FC Barcelona (Barca) sold an NFT featuring club legend Johan Cruyff for $693,000 in an auction held by Sotheby’s in New York on July 29.
The audio-visual work “In a Way, Immortal” depicts the golden Cruyff scoring the iconic goal against Atlético Madrid in 1973. He played for the football club from 1973 to 1978 and returned to coaching between 1988 and 1996. In 2016, the athlete passed away, but is still considered one of the most important figures in the history of the club.
NFT was created by a team of 40 CG and visual effects artists. The work is accompanied by an original soundtrack featuring a 30-piece orchestra.
The owner of the NFT will now become a digital ambassador for Barça and will have exclusive access to VIP events with the club.
Miami launches its own NFT collection
The City of Miami is partnering with TIME, Mastercard and Salesforce to launch a collection of 5,000 NFTs created by local artists.
The project is intended to be a celebration of Miami’s vibrant culture and history. In addition, it is a global part of the citywide Web3 launch, as is Mastercard’s Priceless Miami program, which will give holders of these NFTs access to unique experiences, from “one-of-a-kind events at local Miami restaurants” to “curated, unforgettable private tours of cultural institutions.” Miami” and other memorable events.

Gucci will accept ApeCoin
Luxury clothing retailer Gucci will now accept Bored Ape Yacht Club-created ApeCoin as a valid payment method at select US branches.
Since ApeCoin was released specifically for the owners of Bored Ape and Mutant Ape, this partnership aims to offer owners of these NFTs and cryptocurrencies a new way to represent their community in real life, such as through clothing from the legendary haute couture brand.
