NFT CryptoPunk #3860 Was Sold for Less Than $0.01

A token from the popular CryptoPunks collection was accidentally sold for 99 Wei (less than $0.01).

According to Jonathan Clarke, co-founder of DeFi platform Float Capital, the owner of NFT put it up for public sale, instead of creating a whitelisted offer with a limited number of buyers.

In order for no one else to have the time to buy the token, the buyer paid the miners 22 ETH (about $59,500 at the exchange rate at the time of writing) using the Flashbots service.

After a successful deal, the owner of NFT sold it for $136,675. Thus, he raised at least $75,000.

Founded in 2017, the CryptoPunks collection consists of 10,000 24×24 pixel NFT images. The cheaply sold CryptoPunk #3860 pictures a man wearing glasses with bristles, a cigarette and a mohawk.

I wonder what the 342 prize CryptoPunks stored in four forgotten wallets looks like and how much they might cost.
