Nasdaq Stockholm Lists Two Crypto-Based Products
21Shares was announced to place two crypto-based exchange-traded notes (ETN) on the Stockholm department of Nasdaq. They are based on Bitcoin and Ethereum and are physically backed. It’s an innovative type of ETN tracking the underlying asset.
These products open the path for investors to start investing into cryptocurrency. This way combines investing into digital assets and the safety of the traditional market. Most traditional banks and brokers allow investors trading these ETN.
This is a very important step in the adoption of digital assets. As the investment in this field grows, it’s likely that more crypto-based projects to trade on the regulated exchanges will appear.
