Melania Trump Launched Her Own NFT Project

Former US First Lady Melania Trump launched her own NFT project based on the Solana blockchain and unveiled her first token from the collection called Melania’s Vision.

NFT converted a digitized version of watercolor sketches by French illustrator Marc-Antoine Coulomb and an audio recording of Melania Trump’s voice.

You can buy NFT from Melania from December 16 to December 31, 2021, at the price of 1 SOL (~ $179). Part of the proceeds will go to support the Be Best initiative, which is overseen by the ex-first lady of the United States.

In a conversation with Breitbart, Melania noted that she plans to release digital works on a regular basis. The press release says that you can buy NFT with both cryptocurrency and fiat money using the MoonPay service, but the payment service denied this information:

“In a recent Bloomberg article, MoonPay was named a partner in Melania Trump’s new NFT project. This material contains a factual error, as MoonPay does not play any official role in this project. […] We would like to clarify that we do not cooperate with Melania, and users cannot purchase her collection using our service,” the company announced.

In addition, a representative of Solana Labs in an interview with Decrypt said that the company does not cooperate with Melania Trump, saying that it was Ms Trump’s choice to use the Solana blockchain, and Solana Labs isn’t responsible for that project.

Previously, all 46,694 of Donald Trump’s tweets were posted as NFTs on Drumpfs.io. The Students’ Association archived all of his Twitter posts for over 12 years, and now it’s going to fund the organizations Trump hates with their sales. The price of each starts at 0.0232 ETH.
