McAfee’s Widow Doesn’t Believe Her Husband Committed Suicide

John McAfee’s widow has doubts that her husband committed suicide, since there was no suicide note in his belongings, which she took from prison.

Janice McAfee tweeted that she was in shock. At the moment, she is waiting for the results of the investigation of her husband’s death, since she does not believe that he could have committed suicide due to a possible extradition to the United States.

Cryptocurrency activist John McAfee was found dead in a Spanish jail on June 24, hours after a Spanish court ruled to extradite him to the United States on June 23. The official autopsy is being carried out by the Spanish authorities.

The newspaper El Pais, citing sources, said that according to the preliminary autopsy results, the death was a result of suicide.

According to McAfee’s wife, the Spanish court’s decision was not a surprise to John and could not have pushed him to commit suicide. Moreover, John was going to appeal the court decision.

She added that John was going to fight, and asked her not to worry, as he was going to continue fighting and make all the necessary appeals.

In addition, in December 2019, the founder of McAfee Antivirus stated that he had enough compromising evidence on the US government that could lead to his assassination.

Janice McAfee hopes the investigation will reveal more details about her husband’s death.
