Huobi closed access to crypto derivatives trading for Chinese and British investors
Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi updated its user agreement, in which it indicated that it no longer provides cryptocurrency derivatives trading services to citizens of China, Great Britain and several other countries.
“Huobi, China’s largest exchange, has updated its user agreement to ban the users in China, the UK and other countries from using derivatives for trading,” the company said on Twitter.
According to the document, Chinese citizens can still carry out the spot transactions with cryptocurrency on Huobi.
Earlier, Chinese internet services and social media have ruled out all the possible information about the crypto exchanges.
Information search engines simply stopped giving information on keywords related to the cryptocurrency exchanges Binance, Huobi and OKEx. The search results are no longer displayed regardless of whether you are entering a query about these marketplaces in English or Chinese.
