Elon Musk Pumped the new Baby Doge token by 130%
Billionaire Elon Musk tweeted about Baby Doge, a Dogecoin spin-off, and helped raise its price by 130%.
“Baby Doge, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo,” Musk tweeted, referencing Baby Shark Dance, a children’s song and the most watched video on YouTube with 8.8 billion views.
Baby Doge token appeared just 22 days ago and is trading at $0.000000001516. Since its inception, the price of the cryptocurrency has surged 549.5%, according to data from CoinGecko.
Baby Doge shares the Dogecoin symbolism, but is fundamentally different. Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency that exists on its own blockchain network. And Baby Doge is a token that runs on top of another blockchain infrastructure.
The BEP-20 (Baby Doge) token was developed on the Binance Smart Chain. So, in terms of technical design, Baby Doge looks more like Shiba Inu (SHIB), another Dogecoin clone.
Baby Doge’s developers say the token has “learned a few tricks and lessons” and wants to impress Musk with new and improved transaction speeds and appeal.
Perhaps this is why Musk drew attention to the token. And, perhaps, his interest is associated only with the appearance in the family of a new Siba Inu puppy named Floki. This is why he may be impressed by the “baby versions” of Dogecoin.
