Dogecoin Foundation Requests Name Change for New Project “DOGE2”

As the Dogecoin Foundation stated, the Dogecoin 2.0 website indirectly casts a shadow over the original cryptocurrency.
Dogecoin enthusiasts have raised concerns about Dogecoin 2.0. While the community has previously welcomed new crypto projects, the Foundation accuses Dogecoin 2.0 of using Dogecoin’s brand and reputation to gain a niche in the market.
Dogecoin 2.0 was launched in early May on the Binance Smart Chain. DOGE2 is currently trading at $0.04 after gaining more than 100% in 24 hours on a daily volume of less than $100,000.
