Dapper Labs and FTX Develop New Sports NFTs

Dapper Labs, creators of the NBA Top Shot and FTX’s leading crypto derivatives exchange, announced that it is working on a collection for the National Football League. As part of the deal, the NFL and the NFL Players’ Association (NFLPA) will acquire a stake in Dapper, according to Sports Business Journal.

The platform is set to use the Top Shot model, which tokenizes the highlights of NBA basketball and sells them to users as collectibles on its marketplace.

Meanwhile, FTX and the owners of West Realm Shires Services have signed a deal with Green Bay Packers.

As part of the deal, Aaron Jones joins other all-star athletes such as three-time NBA champion Steph Curry and six-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady in signing an agreement with the FTX.

Jones will be paid in cryptocurrency for advertising and already integrates FTX Pay on the website of his youth charity A&A All the Way.

FTX also partnered with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team for a multi-season contract last week.

The FTX branding will be applied to the cars and uniforms of the racing team drivers, as well as to the team’s trucks, garages and hospitality facilities.
