Bluesky Already Has the Protocol Code For Decentralized Twitter

The Bluesky project, which is working on creating a decentralized version of Twitter, already has something to show us – the first part of the open source code is ready and published. The work took the company more than four months.

Plans to transfer the social network to a decentralized protocol were announced by Jack Dorsey back in 2019. After Elon Musk bought Twitter, the Bluesky project emphasized that it operates independently of the social network and does not represent anyone’s interests.

Bluesky’s future plans are to continue working on the project, the results of which they promise to share with a wide audience.
