BlockFi Credited Its Users With Bitcoins By Mistake

Almost 100 users of BlockFi, the crypto lending service, were credited with Bitcoins by mistake. This information was found on Reddit. One of them reportedly received 700 BTCs that are worth around $28,32 millions according to a relevant rate.

The mistake happened as a result of a promo action held by the service. Users must have been rewarded with Gemini Dollars (GUSDs), the stablecoins, but were mistakenly credited with Bitcoins.

Now the company demands their Bitcoins back offering compensation for this confusing situation. Reportedly BlockFi has already connected with those who were involved in the incident and warn that if they won’t give the assets back, they will face legal actions from the company.
