Bitcoin Rate Jumped Over $51K
On the night of September 6, contrary to forecasts, the Bitcoin exchange rate not only exceeded the $50,000 mark, but also almost reached $52,000, jumping to the level of $51,987 (on the Bitstamp exchange).
According to CoiGecko, the first cryptocurrency is trading at $51,906 at the time of writing. Market cap – $976.3 billion
The dominance index of BTC is 39.7%, ETH – 18.9%.
Given these growth rates, it is not surprising that institutional investors have been accumulating Bitcoins over the past month. According to Buy Bitcoin Worldwide, 816,379 BTC, worth $40.1 billion, is owned by 14 Bitcoin fund issuers and asset managers, representing 4% of the cryptocurrency supply at the time of writing.
