Bitcoin jumped above $49K and pushed several altcoins up

On Sunday, October 3, the bulls managed to gain dominance on the market and Bitcoin jumped above $49,200. After this, the price of AXS, LUNA and several other altcoins skyrocketed.

According to TradingView, this boom was preceded by several days of trading with an upper cap of around $48,200. Thereafter, the bulls were able to break through the upper resistance and lift the rate to an intraday high at $49,242.

The rising wave of Bitcoin also picked up several altcoins, and some of them even almost doubled.

Terra (LUNA) price climbed 23.34% from a low of $37.52 on October 2, reaching a new all-time high of $46.09 in the early morning of October 3.

Secret Network (SCRT) added 20.3% to hit a daily high of $3.07.

In addition to these two, the Shiba Inu coin (SHIB) was surprised by a pleasant increase in price, which added 13% in price. Altcoins Tezos (XTX) and Axie Infinity (AXS) gained 12.4%.

The total cryptocurrency market capitalization at the time of writing was $2.161 trillion, and Bitcoin’s dominance rate is 41.4%.
