Anonymous Hacked the Bank of Russia

On the night of March 24, the Anonymous hacker group twitted that they hacked the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

The hackers have promised to release more than 35,000 central bank files, including some classified information, within the next 48 hours.

The group also added that now they are targeting companies that continue to operate in Russia. At the time of writing, hackers put down the servers of Auchan, Leroy Merlin and Decathlon.

The Bank of Russia, in a comment to a local news outlet, denied the information about the hack of any regulatory systems.

After Anonymous hackers declared cyberwar on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, they hacked several state-owned Russian TV channels, Wink and Ivi services, and broadcast footage of the devastation in Kharkiv and other cities on them.

The BTC-Alpha team together with trusted volunteer communities created a charity fund ‘‘Alpha for Ukraine’. You can make a donation to help everyone in Ukraine who needs medicines, humanitarian aid and to support the defence of the country.
