Animoca Brands With Cube Entertainment Going to Create K-pop Metaverse

NFT game development company Animoca Brands is partnering with a Korean talent agency and production company, Cube Entertainment, to build a “K-pop music metauniverse.”

According to the November 15 announcement, Animoca and Cube will be collaborating on multimedia NFT featuring popular actors and K-pop musicians from the Cube roster.

Cube artist portraits, album art, and digital audio from full-length albums will be converted to NFT.

Cube has roughly 50 K-pop artists on its roster, including BtoB, Pentagon, (G) I-DLE, and Lightsum.

Animoca Brands is actively promoting NFT’s key milestones by investing in Dapper Labs. And in 2020, Animoca licensed Formula1 to launch F1 Delta Time and then sold $3 million worth of virtual land NFTs to its metauniverse subsidiary, The Sandbox, as part of an initial year-end exchange offer organized by Binance.

Recently, a metaverse project, Mars4, based on a detailed 3D map of Mars using data from NASA and other space agencies, announced a staking listing on Bittrex and Sushiswap, available through their ONSEN system.
