An Apartment in Portugal Sold For 3 BTC

In the Portuguese city of Braga, an apartment was sold for 3 BTC without converting to fiat.

According to Zome, which accompanied the transaction, this was the first time in the history of the country that real estate was bought for cryptocurrency without any conversion into euros.

According to Idealista, the house cost the buyer 3 BTC ($99,900 at the time of writing).

In Portugal, in April, owners and real estate agents were allowed to transact using digital assets. Prior to this, the buyer had to convert them to fiat.
